Resident Owners & Managers – Carol & Ian Clare
Carol & Ian moved down from the Whitsundays and had initially planned to retire. They discovered a need for quality accommodation in the area and opened “Clare-Lind Homestead”, Bed & Breakfast instead. It has taken 8 years of hard work to develop the property into the Tropical oasis that exists today. They enjoy talking to all their Guests, and get many International arrivals. They love meeting all their Guests but aim for repeat business, adapting to their Guests changing needs. Some Guests want a bit of “local knowledge” and a chat, which Carol & Ian are happy to oblige, whilst others only want their privacy which is catered for as well, with a special Guests-only area of the Homestead. They believe in Service and good old-fashioned Hospitality.
